Obama Cancels Christian Speaker
Fort Riley military base in Kansas submitted to Obama-loving liberal atheists this week when they rescheduled a prayer breakfast slated for Monday, and a retired general who was scheduled to speak won’t be invited back.
According to Conservative Tribune, retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin was scheduled to speak to the guests, but his name has been removed from the roster after protests from atheists. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation launched a protest of Boykin’s speech, claiming his presence would be “too threatening” to atheists.
On Monday, Boykin told USA Radio host Rusty Humphries on his show that he was accused of being both a “Christian zealot” and an Islamaphobe. The former general claimed Mikey Weinstein, founder of the atheist group Military Religious Freedom Foundation, was behind the move to take him down.
Boykin said that this is exactly what Obama wants his military to be doing, saying his removal was “just another example of how President Barack Obama is trying to drive all vestige of faith out of the military.”
“There’s been an all-out attack on faith in general, teaching a Biblical message and counseling from a Biblical perspective,” he said.
It’s sickening that a former general can’t even share his faith at a prayer breakfast in Obama’s America these days. SHARE if you stand with Boykin against Obama!
