Top Democrat SITS During Pledge of Allegiance In Senate Session

A few weeks ago, we reported that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick turned on America on Friday when he refused to stand as the national anthem played before a game.

Kaepernick tried to defend his shameful show of disrespect by race-baiting.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he said of his protest. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Since then, Kaepernick’s sickening protest has spread throughout the country like wildfire. Now, race-baiting politicians are even taking part in it.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Top Missouri Democrat State Senator Jamilah Nasheed sat during the Pledge of Allegiance on Wednesday to show her solidarity with Kaepernick. She announced her plan to do so before Wednesday’s veto session at the Missouri state capitol.

Fox 2 reported that in Missouri, each legislative session typically starts with a prayer and the pledge. Nasheed stood up for the prayer, then sat down for the pledge.

Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, a Republican, released a statement shortly afterward to slam Nasheed for what she had done.

“There is no question of the senator’s right to remain seated during the Pledge, but it’s a question of the propriety of her action,” Kinder said. “I worry about the example she is setting, particularly for our young people. I believe our best hope for tackling the tough issues of racial unity and economic opportunity is through the shared commitment to the principles and ideals that make America great.”

Nasheed took to Twitter to explain herself, but all she actually did was race-bait even more.

Welcome to Obama’s America, folks!
