An explosion in Chelsea, New York City has left many wondering what happend. Is it terrorism? Was it intentional? Was it an accident? How many people are alive, injured, or dead? The investigation into the causes of the explosion are just in the beginning stages and very little is known. That did not stop Trump from commenting that he thought it was a bomb and when he did all the liberals went crazy.

The Hill reported,

“Donald Trump, taking the podium at a rally in Colorado Springs, announced to the crowd that a bomb had exploded in New York; it is still unclear what caused a reported explosion.”

Trump himself reportedly said,

“Just before I got off the plane, a bomb went off in New York and nobody knows exactly what’s going on, but, boy we are really in a time. We better get very tough, folks. It’s a terrible thing that’s going on in our world and in our country and we are going to get tough and smart and vigilant. We’ll see what it is.”

People on Twitter were upset that he was characterizing the attacks in Chelsea despite little to no information on the attacks being known or public knowledge.

But ABC News 7 reported the following,

“At least 25 people have been injured after an explosion at 135 West 23rd Street in Manhattan, sources say. The explosion happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. 24 of those injuries are minor, and one injury is being described as serious. No fatalities have been reported, and there is no word yet on what caused the possible explosion. Pedestrian and vehicular traffic has been diverted, and West 23 Street from 6th to 7th Avenue has been closed. As a precaution, the NYPD bomb squad is searching area trash cans for any secondary devices.”

But an image on Twitter of the bombed dumpster shows that Trump might be right after all.
