WikiLeaks released a new batch of emails this morning that were obtained from Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, and they have confirmed Donald Trump’s claims that Clinton’s team has had a close relationship with many members of the liberal media.

Breitbart reported that one of these media personalities was CNBC anchor and New York Times reporter John Harwood, who many Republicans remember for being incredibly biased while moderating a Republican primary debate in 2015. According to Conservative Tribune, Podesta emailed Harwood many times in 2015, and many of those messages were about breaking news stories regarding the ongoing private email server scandal that has dogged the campaign of Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Harwood appeared to be checking in on how his friends in Clinton’s campaign were holding up under all the scrutiny, making it clear just how close to them he was. Here’s one of the emails:

As the Democratic primary race heated up in early 2016, Harwood also emailed Podesta several times to both congratulate and encourage his efforts to get Clinton elected.

In many of the emails, Harwood offered specific advice to Podesta about Clinton’s campaign, sharing some inside information he had on GOP candidates. He also bragged about how biased he was against Donald Trump when he moderated the Republican primary debate. Harwood appeared to relish obtaining a “vindication” of sorts for Barack Obama by making Trump look bad.

“I imagine,” Harwood wrote, “that Obama feels some (sad) vindication at this demonstration of his years-long point about the opposition party veering off the rails. I certainly am feeling that way with respect to how I questioned Trump at our debate.”

These newly-leaked emails make it clear that Donald Trump has been right all along that this election has been rigged against him from the beginning. SHARE this story if you think John Hardwood should be FIRED!
