BREAKING: Fox News Heads Make MASSIVE Announcement About Megyn Kelly – Fans Stunned

Over the past year, Megyn Kelly has been alienating Fox News fans with her constant attacks on Donald Trump as she tries to appeal to more mainstream audiences. Reports have been circulating for months that she is hoping to leave Fox News to go to a mainstream news network, and given her recent massive drop in ratings, it appears clear that Fox fans are more than willing to let her go.

That’s why it came as a major shock to Fox fans this week when Vanity Fair reported that Rupert Murdoch’s sons James and Lachlan are desperate to renew the contract of who they call their “brightest star Megyn Kelly.” According to Brietbart, the Murdoch brothers see Kelly as a “big part of the future” of the formerly-rightwing news network despite her “enmity” with other Fox News hosts like Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity.

In the wake of the Roger Ailes scandal, the Murdoch brothers have become much more involved with the network. This came as great news for Kelly, as she has been close to the brothers for many years, and each of them grew closer to her during the entire situation with Ailes.

“Lachlan was the one who talked to her throughout this entire ordeal,” a Fox News insider said. “James loves Megyn. He believes she’s a big part of the future of this channel.”

Kelly’s contract is set to expire in July of 2017, and sources say that the Murdoch brothers have dined with her twice in the last few months trying to convince her to resign. Though Kelly may be able to command as much as double her current $10 million salary with Fox, a source close to her says it’s “premature” to know what she’ll do.

“I don’t think she knows what she is going to do,” the source added.

The fact that the Murdoch brothers are so desperate to keep the increasingly liberal Kelly suggests that Fox News itself may be preparing to lean further to the left. What do you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
