BREAKING: Moderator Chris Wallace Drops BOMBSHELL Hours Before Debate

Millions of conservatives believe that the first two presidential debates were rigged against Donald Trump by moderators Lester Holt, Martha Raddatz, and Anderson Cooper. Because of this, all eyes are on moderator Chris Wallace going into tonight’s debate in Las Vegas.

Now, with hours to go before the debate, Wallace’s moderator strategy has been revealed.

According to Huffington Post, Wallace has stated that he believes his role as a moderator means he should be more of a time keeper than a fact-checker. Unlike his previous moderators, Wallace hopes to interrupt the candidates as little as possible.

“An interview ― it’s you and the candidate, and you’re the person holding them to account,” Wallace said over the weekend on “Fox News Sunday,” the public affairs show he’s hosted for 13 years. “This is a debate. And, you know, they’re both going to be on the stage. If I think there’s a need for me to intervene, I will, but I would prefer not to.”

Many liberal journalists were furious when Wallace announced his disdain for fact checking in a debate, arguing that it’s crucial for a moderator to call out blatant lies. The mainstream media launched a brutal attack on Matt Lauer when he didn’t push back against what they say were Trump’s false claims during a Town Hall. Despite this backlash, Wallace said he still won’t be changing his strategy.

“I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do in the moment,” Wallace told anchor Brit Hume. “But my disposition is I would rather have the two candidates speaking to each other, than speaking to me.”

“You make yourself too big a figure as moderator in the debate, it’s not a debate anymore,” Wallace added. “It’s like a couple of side-by-side news conferences and I don’t think that is your point.”

In the end, the liberal media is just mad because Wallace is striving to make this debate as fair and unbiased as possible. What do you think about his strategy? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
