BREAKING: Megyn Kelly Gets Hit Back With THIS After Accusing Roger Ailes Of Sexual Harassment
Yesterday, we reported that Megyn Kelly dropped a bombshell in her new memoir when she claimed that disgraced Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had sexually harassed her. Now, Ailes is firing back at her in a big way.
According to Daily Mail, Ailes issued a rare public statement on Thursday in which he called Kelly a liar.
“Mr. Ailes denies her allegations of sexual harassment or misconduct of any kind,” Ailes said through his lawyer Susan Estrich. The attorney went on to the praise that Kelly gave her boss in a recent interview with Charlie Rose as evidence of their point. Unfortunately for Ailes, however, his team mistakenly said that Kelly’s comments were made “on the Charlie Rose program” just “one year ago,” when she actually gave the interview in April.
“I really care about Roger,” Kelly said to Rose. “And he has been nothing but good to me. And he’s been very loyal. And he’s had my back. And he’s looked out for me.”
This is in stark contrast to what Kelly said in her memoir, where she said Ailes tried to kiss her against her will, made inappropriate sexual comments in her presence and even told her about some “very sexy bras” he would like to watch her wear. She also said that Ailes said he would advance her career in exchange for sexual favors.
