The election is finally here, and the first victory of Election Day has just been claimed, as the nine person community of Dixville Notch has cast their vote in New Hampshire.

According to Daily Mail, Hillary Clinton narrowly claimed this victory over Donald Trump by a 4-2 vote. Gary Johnson picked up one vote, but the real surprise came when one disgruntled voter wrote-in the name of 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Clinton’s win in Dixville Notch came as a surprise to many, since the remote New Hampshire community usually votes Republican. On top of that, there are only two women registered to vote there while there are seven men. However, the community did vote for Barack Obama overwhelmingly in 2008, giving him a 15-6 victory over John McCain. This marked the first time Dixville Notch had voted Democrat since 1968.

We can only hope that Trump gets some victories himself in the next few hours! Who do you think will win the election? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
