‘Heavily Armed’ Shooter Opens Fire At California Polling Station

Disturbing new reports are coming in that a “heavily armed” gunman opened fire near a polling station in Azusa, California just after 2pm today, killing one person and wounding at least three others.

The LA Times reported that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Capt. Jeff Scroggin said his officers are dealing with a suspect that is heavily armed. Few details are available about the shooting, other than that it occurred just after 2 p.m. in a residential neighborhood in the area of Fourth Street and Orange Avenue.

“This is a very volatile and critical situation,” Scroggin said.
