Conservatives everywhere are celebrating that Donald Trump won the presidential election, but it turns out there’s another big reason for us to celebrate as well.

The Federalist Papers reported that Kentucky Republicans FINALLY won their state house after a 95 year drought.

“Republicans last led the chamber in 1921,” Instapundit reported. “Going into Election Day, the Kentucky House was the only law-making chamber in the South still controlled by Democrats, who held a 53-47 majority. Longtime House Speaker Greg Stumbo, D-Prestonsburg, was among 17 Democratic incumbents swamped in the Republican wave. . . . As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, the GOP led Democrats 64-35, with one seat still too close to call.”

This means that Kentucky Republicans finally have the holy trinity of state power–with the house, senate, and governorship.

“At a victory party in Louisville, Bevin and Hoover sported red caps that bore #NewMajority in white lettering,” the Lexington Herald Leader reported.

What happened in Kentucky is an example of the trend that has swept our country. Conservative Americans are sick and tired of being marginalized and silenced in Barack Obama’s America, and we have FINALLY taken our country back!
