On Tuesday night, Donald Trump was named as the presumptive GOP presidential nominee after Texas Senator Ted Cruz dropped out of the race. One day later, however, Trump got some awful news when a legion of conservative media members announced they would vote for Hillary Clinton over him.
According to The Washington Post, Ben Howe, a contributing editor at the conservative Red State blog, let his choice be known hours after Cruz lost Indiana.
Hours before that, former John McCain chief of staff Mark Salter tweeted his support for Hillary as well with her infamous catchphrase “I’m with her.”
Kyle Foley, a contributor to the conservative Hypeline news site, agreed that Hillary is now the best choice.
Other “conservative” media figures quickly followed suit.
It’s sickening that conservatives are abandoning our party in droves just because they don’t want to see Trump get elected. Anyone who votes for Hillary Clinton can NEVER call themselves a conservative again. SHARE if you agree!
