In his final year in office, Barack Obama is stepping up his game to destroy the Second Amendment wherever he can. Now, his anti-gun agenda has gone one step further after a state announced plans to register every one of their gun owners.
According to Conservative Tribune, Hawaii announced this week that they will become the first state to utilize the “Rap Back” database to keep track of every gun owner in the state. FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division’s Stephen Fisher told reporters that the database is used in other places for those in “positions of trust,” like school teachers and bus drivers.
Liberal supporters of the bill are thrilled with it. Allison Anderman, a staff attorney at the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, described the bill as “groundbreaking.”
Conservative patriots, however, are furious about the idea.
“I don’t like the idea of us being entered into a database,” said firearms instructor Jerry Ilo. “It basically tells us that they know where the guns are, they can go grab them. We get the feeling that Big Brother is watching us.”
University of Hawaii School of Law’s Kenneth Lawson said this pull posed a major risk to the right to bare arms that is guaranteed to us by the Second Amendment.
“You’re curtailing that right by requiring that a name be entered into a database without doing anything wrong,” he said.
