Yesterday, we reported that armored United Nations vehicles had been spotted on Interstate 81 in Virginia.
The trucks were tactical trucks with bulletproof glass, causing many to wonder whether UN troops were on U.S. soil.
However, the truth apparently isn’t nearly so scandalous. According to The Federalist Papers, many private defense contractors including Alpine Armstrong contract with the UN and other agencies to produce and up-armor vehicles. They were probably on flatbed trucks is because they’re being transported to various ports to be shipped overseas.
Despite this explanation, it’s still shocking to see armored trucks rolling through the United States. We can only hope that this is indeed the truthful explanation, and that these trucks aren’t part of some plan of Obama’s.
