Hours after the bombing at an airport in Turkey that left 41 people dead, hundreds of people were evacuated from John F Kennedy Airport in New York.
According to Daily Mail, hundreds of people were evacuated from Terminal 5 at the airport at around 8:30am after an unidentified bag was found in the departure area. Scores of passengers were photographed being marched outside the building.
Roads leading to and from the airport were closed down so that police and K9 units could be brought in to identify the threat. Fox 5 New York reported that passengers were allowed back inside the building about an hour after the threat came in.
