Reba McEntire needs prayers this week after an Oklahoma man was arrested and charged with robbing her family’s ranch back in June.
KXII Fox News 12 reported that Clint Mansell has plead guilty to the charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and grand larceny. According to Taste of Country, this came after multiple items totaling about $28,000 were stolen from McEntire’s family’s ranch. These items included an ATV, two air conditioners and some miscellaneous tools, some of which have since been recovered.
The ranch has always been very special to McEntire, as her father purchased it and transformed it from a 40-acre plot to the 8,000-acre farm it is today. The country music legend was raised on the ranch, and she goes back there whenever she can. When her beloved father died in 2014, she grieved for him with her song “Just Like Them Horses.” The music video for the beautiful ballad was filmed on her family ranch.
Now that the robber has been apprehended, McEntire can refocus on her Las Vegas residency with Brooks & Dunn, which was recently extended into 2017.
Please keep Reba McEntire and her family in your thoughts and prayers!
