After weeks of speculation, multiple news outlets are reporting that Donald Trump is planning to name Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate on Friday.
Roll Call reported that an unnamed Republican close to Trump confirmed that he has chosen Pence, 57, as his potential Vice President. According to Daily Mail, the Trump campaign has not confirmed these reports, with campaign chairman Paul Manafort tweeting that it’s too early to say the billionaire real estate tycoon had locked in his pick.
“[A] decision will be made in the near future and the announcement will be tomorrow at 11am in New York,” he wrote on Twitter.
Despite this denial, reports are circulating that Sean Hannity will interview Pence Friday night after it is announced that he will be on the ticket.
