On Sunday night, Memphis Black Lives Matter hoodlums shut down the I-40 bridge as hundreds of protesters refused to leave a rally. They protesters refused to let any traffic through, not even an ambulance that was trying to help a sick child.
Paramedic Bobby Harrell with Crittenden EMS, however, was determined to help the child in need. GOP The Daily Dose reported that Harrell received a call that a child stuck in traffic on the bridge desperately needed medical attention. The parents were photographed handing their child off to Harrell and his team, who then ran the kid to the ambulance on foot.
“The sheriff’s department had to escort us up the wrong way of the interstate to the child,” he said, adding that once the child was in the ambulance, the driver had to go 25 minutes out of his way to get to the hospital.
“We had to turn around and come back to West Memphis and cross over at MLK to get over to 55,” Harrell continued.
It’s incredibly ironic that the ambulance had to cross over MLK to save a sick child after race-baiters refused to help them. Somehow, we don’t think Dr. Martin Luther King would approve…
