Fox News fans were stunned earlier this month when popular host Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against network CEO Roger Ailes accusing him of sexual harassment. Now, two different sources who were briefed on the corporate investigation into Ailes told New York Magazine that Fox News host Megyn Kelly has now also accused the CEO of sexual harassment.
According to Daily Mail, Kelly told investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances towards her ten years ago when she was working as a legal correspondent in Fox’s Washington, DC bureau. She reportedly described the harassment in great detail to the lawyers.
The sources went on to say that on Monday afternoon, lawyers for 21st Century Fox gave Ailes a deadline of August 1 to resign or face being fired for the harassment. Ailes’ legal team has not yet responded at this time.
