Donald Trump was overjoyed this week when he was finally named as the official GOP presidential nominee during the Republican National Convention. However, Trump’s joy has quite subdued as he still struggles to recover from the tragic shooting in Baton Rouge that left three police officers dead, and broke the business mogul’s heart.
Unlike Barack Hussein Obama, Trump has a great amount of love and respect for American cops. After the tragedy, The Donald spoke out to slam Obama for the way he has handled both the Dallas and Baton Rouge shootings on police.
“You just look at the body language and there’s something going on. Look, there’s something going on. There’s just bad feeling,” Trump said of Obama’s Baton Rouge speech in which he showed little sorrow for the fallen officers.
Trump’s statement was backed up by Det. Steve Loomis, head of Cleveland’s Police Patrolman Association.
“The president of the United States validated a false narrative and the nonsense that Black Lives Matter and the media are pressing out there to the public,” Loomis said. “He validated with his very divisive statements and now we see an escalation.”
