Money is essential to any political campaign. That’s why it came as very good news to conservatives everywhere when the Koch backed Freedom Partners organization agreed to meet with the Donald Trump campaign to gauge the opposition to his candidacy.
According to Conservative Brief, hundreds of millions of dollars of the Koch money has been spent on political campaigns over the last few decades. Though they haven’t been too keen on Trump running for president, this meeting signifies that they are finally changing their tune.
The meeting will be attended by key stakeholder Mark Holden, who is Chairman of the Board of Freedom Partners and head of the political funding group of the Koch brothers.
“We are happy to talk to anybody and hope they understand where we’re coming from,” Charles Koch said in a recent interview.
The Koch brothers’ support may give Trump the final boost he needs to beat Hillary Clinton. What do you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
