Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, North Carolina was placed on lockdown on Saturday afternoon after gunshots were heard in the building.
According to The Political Insider, police were called to the mall at around 2:45 that afternoon and they immediately sealed it off to the public so that they could search it. Witness Mark Rush told reporters that he was walking out of a store he heard “about five or six” shots. He saw the gunman around “10 or 15 feet” away and the shooter was carrying a handgun.
ABC 11 reported that police were never able to find the shooter, but the mall reopened again on Sunday.
