Hillary Clinton has repeatedly criticized Donald Trump for his idea to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border as she insists that our country is safe and that building a wall would be a waste of time. Back in the 1990s, however, Hillary and her husband were singing a very different tune.
Conservative Tribune reported that former Clinton staffer Dick Morris just reminded Americans that former President Bill Clinton built a 325-mile fence along the border between California and Mexico in 1993 with Hillary Clinton’s “strong support.”
This wasn’t the only time Hillary made a Trump-like move against illegal immigration. Back in 2005, then-Senator Hillary Clinton said she was against illegal immigration and suggested the U.S. needed to come up with a system that keeps track of them. One year later, she joined Senate Republicans and Democrats and voted for the “Secure Fence Act of 2006.”
When she was running against Barack Obama in 2008, Hillary said a number of things about the border that sounded an awful lot like what Trump is saying now.
A few months ago, Hillary boasted that she “voted numerous” times to spend money on “a barrier” (she was very careful not to use the word “wall”) to try to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country.
This is just the latest example of the Clintons behaving hypocritically. SHARE this story if you think these people are shameless liars who have no business being in the White House!
