Over the weekend, we reported that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick turned on America on Friday when he refused to stand as the national anthem played before a game. Within 24 hours, fans were burning his jersey to let him know that what he did was wrong.
Kaepernick tried to defend his shameful show of disrespect by race-baiting.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he said of his protest. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
During a press conference on Monday, Kaepernick infuriated Americans once again when they saw what was on his T-shirt. According to Conservative Tribune, Kaepernick had photos of Malcolm X and Fidel Castro together on his shirt along with the caption “Like Minds Think Alike.”
Many were stunned by this and questioned why a man who claims to be standing up to oppression was wearing a shirt with one of the world’s worst oppressors on it.

Sergio J. Sixto, who was imprisoned and tortured by Castro, fired back on Kaepernick with some strong words.
“If that guy had a dictator like the Castros for 57 years in power in his country, he would know what it’s like to really be oppressed. Especially for black people. Black people are the most repressed in the country. The prisons are filled with them mostly,” Sixto told Independent Journal.
Castro, who is still living, was a notoriously brutal dictator during the Cold War who stole all his people’s rights. The people of Cuba were so oppressed by him that many risked their lives to come to the United States so that they could be free.
“If he had said anything bad to say about the government or the Castros in protest of real discrimination and oppression, he might have found himself in prison like I did for trying to speak my mind and bring about change. And he would have been treated even worse,” Sixto replied when asked what would have happened if Kaepernick had pulled his little sitting stunt over in Cuba.
Hey, Colin, if you love Cuba so much, why don’t you LEAVE America and move there!
