The country was stunned on Thursday when Hillary Clinton collapsed as she left the 9/11 memorial in New York City. Now, new photos have emerged of what she was given immediately before her collapse that offers new insight into her condition.
Young Conservatives reported that the image above this story shows Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clinton’s personal doctor, having the Democratic presidential nominee squeeze her fingers minutes before her fainting spell. This is a well known neurological test, which indicates that Clinton is dealing with a whole lot more than just pneumonia right now.
From Informatics NYU:
- Test the patient’s grip by having the patient hold the examiner’s fingers in their fist tightly and instructing them not to let go while the examiner attempts to remove them. Normally the examiner cannot remove their fingers. This tests the forearm flexors and the intrinsic hand muscles. Compare the hands for strength asymmetry.
“I frequently work in Neurosurgical ICU, this is a standard part of a neurological assessment,” said one expert, according to Hidden Americans. “Check your uppers/lowers, orientation to time/place, etc. This test you’re seeing is not something you routinely do for pneumonia.”
