Barack Hussein Obama is desperate to ensure that Hillary Clinton wins this election because he knows Donald Trump will immediately destroy all of his ridiculous policies if he becomes president. Now, he’s using his wife to try and force voters to back Hillary.
This past Friday, Michelle shirked her first lady duties to take a major stand for Hillary on the campaign trail.
Michelle Obama on Friday issued a cutting critique of Donald J. Trump as an unserious and dangerously unprepared candidate for president, making a rare appearance on the campaign trail to plead with young voters to support Hillary Clinton and extend her husband’s legacy.
Mrs. Obama never mentioned Mr. Trump by name in a 25-minute speech to college students in what could be a crucial swing state. But her message, delivered in the voice of a wife who has watched her husband grapple with the formidable challenges of the presidency over eight years, was unmistakably aimed at the Republican presidential nominee.
“When you’re making life-and-death, war-and-peace decisions, a president can’t just pop off,” Mrs. Obama said at George Mason University, near Washington, where young people packed the tiled floors of a student center and watched from balconies hung with red, white and blue bunting.
“If a candidate is erratic and threatening, if a candidate traffics in prejudice, fear and lies on the trail,” Mrs. Obama added, “that is the kind of president they will be.”
On a day dominated by news that Mr. Trump had finally dropped his long adherence to the false notion that President Obama was not born in the United States — and therefore is not a legitimate president — Mrs. Obama said her husband had faced a long list of doubts since his election in 2008 as the first black president.
“Back then, people had all kinds of questions about what kind of president Barack would be,” she said. “Things like, does he understand us, will he protect us, and then, of course, there were those who questioned — and continue to question for the past eight years, up through this very day — whether my husband was even born in this country.”
Boos echoed through the hall as Mrs. Obama pursed her lips in disdain.
Mrs. Obama cast Mrs. Clinton — herself a former first lady and Mr. Obama’s onetime rival — as the only candidate capable of fulfilling what she called “the highest-stakes, most 24/7 job that you could imagine.”
“With every word that they utter, they can start wars, crash markets, change the course of this planet, so who in this election is truly ready for this job?” Mrs. Obama said. “It is excruciatingly clear that there is only one person in this election we can trust with those responsibilities, only one person with the qualifications and the temperament for that job, and that is our friend Hillary Clinton.”
