A BuzzFeed “dossier” was published which contained lewd sex rumors about President-Elect Trump, since then the source of the rumors has come into question. A former British spy was originally hired by Republican strategists to conduct opposition research on Trump – that work continued under the commission of Democrats, yet none of the information compiled was ever made publicly available. Some of these rumors included stories of Trump enjoying sexual kinks with prostitutes including a “urine bath” which allegedly occurred at the Ritz-Carlton in Russia in the same hotel room that President Obama stayed in. The Left was naturally thrilled that such an absurd story could exist and for an entire day #GoldenShowers was the top trend on Twitter.
The story began to fall apart after users on an internet website named 4Chan pointed to an article they had posted some months ago in which a user claimed he had written and sent fan fiction about Trump engaging in urine baths and had sent these stories to members of the press. The 4Chan users were extremely proud of themselves for having pushed what they claim is a “hoax” that the mainstream media thought to be a real story. The timeline of events for the story having originated on 4Chan are listed below.
Via ZeroHedge: Here is 4Chan’s explanation of how the story came to light:
/pol/acks mailed fanfiction to anti-trump pundit Rick Wilson about trump making people piss on a bed obama slept in
he thought it was real and gave it to the CIA
the central intelligence agency of the united states of america put this in their official classified intelligence report on russian involvement in the election
donald trump and obama have both read this pol/acks fanfiction
the cia has concluded that the russian plans to blackmail trump with this story we made up
just let that sink in what we have become.

4chan trolled Rick Wilson with the Trump piss story back in November 2016. Media or CIA added Russian spies themselves. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. pic.twitter.com/BFJDvzcgbf

It should be noted that there is zero credibility behind the claims, and they have come under extreme ridicule as such.
